On Friday, March 14, banks in many regions will remain closed to observe Holi, the vibrant festival of colors that heralds the arrival of spring. Later in the month, on Monday, March 31, banks will observe a holiday for Ramzan Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr), marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
However, the RBI has instructed 33 agency banks to remain operational on March 31 to facilitate essential government transactions, ensuring a smooth wrap-up of the financial year.
